If you’ve ever felt overlooked, written off, or misunderstood by systems that should’ve supported you, you’re not alone here.
I’m Rosalie Genova, LCPC, CCS. I am a listener at heart, and the therapy I do is built around whatever each individual client needs, in their own words: what they experience, what they care about, and what they want out of life.
Even with the best of intentions, therapy can often slide into rigid "evidence-based" treatments, standardized metrics, and sessions that prioritize “doing the work” over being with. I work with the conviction that everyone deserves to be heard, to feel respected, and to have their needs and wishes taken seriously. You can learn more about me here.
In our work together, we start with your vision for change. We look at where things feel out of alignment with your values, what gets in the way, and what steps feel possible right now. Not according to someone else’s expectations, but according to your own definition of wellness and a full life. I bring a range of tools—from clinical expertise to reflective practices like Tarot—to help widen what’s possible and explore what sits below the surface. Not because you need to fit into any model, but because you deserve curiosity, options, and care that meets you where you are.
