At heart, I am a listener. I love learning about people through their own words: what they experience, what they care about, and what they want out of life. I work with the conviction that everyone deserves to be heard, to feel respected, and to have their needs and wishes taken seriously.
I'm a professional clinical counselor, mission-driven to deliver the best care I can for substance use disorders and other mental health issues. I am constantly reading, learning, and thinking about how better to do this work, in the spirit of curiosity.
And much as I appreciate facts and research, I also believe there are other ways to explore what we don't know. I read Tarot cards as a way to tap into the unconscious and try to expand our understanding.
